Darul Hasanah was established after recognising a need for a home for abandoned and/or displaced Muslim women. This is the first home in Ekurhuleni addressing this vital need and we hope that Allah accepts this niyyat and allows the home to grow from strength to strength. Insha’Allah. Aameen.
The home will be able to accommodate 13 women from disadvantaged and under-privileged backgrounds. It is perhaps the single reason why your contributions and donations will assist in easing this endeavour.
Our intention is to create a humble home that will restore dignity, confidence and pride. Our services are aimed at assisting women who are over the age of 55 years.
Darul Hasanah reaches out to affected women who feel despondent, weak and lonely through abandonment. The home is designed for independent living promoting a positive outlook with our slogan “active ageing” through self-motivation and purpose. Our home prides itself with the commitment of providing dignity, respect, care and most importantly love to nurture each occupant to reach their full self-esteem and self-confidence.
